EASTER SUNDAY MESSAGE
RESOURCES FOR LESSON:
Bible Verses: Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20
Connect Question: Who’s your favorite person from the Bible and why?
Remember Verse: “The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.” Psalm 145:8
Foundational Truth: Jesus is Alive
Blessing: 1 John 4:9–12:This is how God showed His love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
May you know how much God loves you, so much that He sent His Son to die on the cross as the final sacrifice for your sins. May you feel encouraged to know that you're a part of The Big God Story!
